The information we learn from customers helps us continually improve our products. Here are the types of information we gather. Information You Actively Give Us In general, you can browse the FlexiSoft Solutions website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. However, when registering for our products either online or through our desktop software (including trial versions), we receive and store the information you enter. FlexiSoft Solutions is not in the business of gathering data, so we keep the amount of data we require for registration to a minimum. This data includes your name, company name, email address, and customer order number. For support reasons, we may request additional information such as your operating system version and hardware statistics to help troubleshoot specific issues. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our products, and communicating with you. When purchasing products on the FlexiSoft Solutions website, we gather additional information required for credit card processing. However, for your protection, we do not store this information – it is securely passed along to our credit card processing partner. If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you. Information Collected Automatically We may receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we may use "cookies," and we may obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses FlexiSoft Solutions. Please note that there are a number of utilities designed to help you visit Web sites anonymously. Although we will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience at FlexiSoft Solutions if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these tools exist. E-mail Communications From time to time we may send e-mail communications to you to describe new features or inform you of product updates and enhancements. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, you may always respond to an e-mail with the subject REMOVE or follow the links in each e-mail to inform us of your preference. We always honor all requests to remove customers from our email lists. FlexiSoft Solutions, Inc. is also an avid crusader in the fight against bulk unwanted emails (SPAM). We will never send SPAM. Furthermore, we will not do business with companies that do. Does FlexiSoft Solutions Share the Information It Receives? Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. However, there are specific circumstances when we will share your information with our business partners. Credit Card Processing We routinely share customer information only when processing credit cards and we do so ONLY through a secure SSL connection to the appropriate credit card company.
Protection of FlexiSoft Solutions and Others We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; or protect the rights, property, or safety of FlexiSoft Solutions, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice. Other Circumstances As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice. Also, in the unlikely event that FlexiSoft Solutions, Inc., is acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets. How Secure Is Information About Me? We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. Specific Policies Regarding Children Children (persons under the age of 18) are not eligible to use the FlexiSoft Solutions website or desktop software unsupervised and we ask that children do not submit any personal information to us. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use this Site in conjunction with and under the supervision of your parents or guardians. Privacy-related Inquiries and Complaints Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions If you choose to visit FlexiSoft Solutions, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of Tennessee.
